This is a Belimo 3-way characterized ball valve with a nickel-plated brass housing and EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 15 and the port size is Rp 1/2 inch with female threads. With its integrated characterizing disc, it ensures equal percentage flow control, enabling precise and consistent regulation of fluid flow. The maximum pressure differential is 3.5 bar (50.8 psi). The valve can operate between -10 and 120 °C (14 to 248 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 0.4 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 0.46 gpm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC. The actuator is designed with BACnet MSTP/Modbus RTU control, offering reliable and robust communication protocols for efficient operation and integration within the networked control environment. The actuator opens/closes the valve in 90 seconds. The actuator has an IP40 rating.
The actuator, equipped with overload protection, doesn’t need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. Manual override is possible using a push-button, which disengages the gear train as long as the button is pressed or remains locked. The actuator can be directly mounted on the ball valve using a single screw. The mounting orientation relative to the ball valve can be chosen in 90° increments. The actuator comes with an inbuilt interface for BACnet MSTP and Modbus RTU. It obtains the digital control signal from the control system and provides the present status. The rotation angle can be adjusted with mechanical end stops.
