This is a Belimo 3-way characterized ball valve with a nickel-plated brass housing and EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 25 and the port size is Rp 1 inch with female threads. With its integrated characterizing disc, it ensures equal percentage flow control, enabling precise and consistent regulation of fluid flow. The maximum pressure differential is 3.5 bar (50.8 psi). The valve can operate between -10 and 120 °C (14 to 248 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 10 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 11.57 gpm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC. The actuator utilizes the MP-Bus communication protocol and provides position feedback in the range of 0-10 V or 2-10 V, allowing for precise control and accurate monitoring of its position within the specified voltage range. The actuator, equipped with overload protection, doesn’t need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. Manual override is possible using a push-button, which disengages the gear train as long as the button is pressed or remains locked. The actuator can be directly mounted on the ball valve using a single screw. The mounting orientation relative to the ball valve can be chosen in 90° increments. The actuator connects with a 0-10 V control signal and moves to the position defined by the signal. Voltage measurement is employed both for visually displaying the valve position within the 0.5% to 100% range and as a control signal for other actuators. In bus operation, the actuator receives its digital control signal from the upper-level controller via the MP-Bus and moves to the defined position. The U connection serves as a communication interface without providing an analog measuring voltage. The rotation angle can be adjusted with mechanical end stops.
