This is a Belimo 3-way globe valve with a coated cast iron housing and EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 15 and the flange size is DN 15. The valve cone features an equipercentual characteristic according to VDI/VDE 2173, optimized within its opening range. The maximum pressure differential is 4 bar (58 psi). The valve can operate between 5 and 120 °C (41 to 248 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 2.5 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 2.89 gpm. The valve’s stroke length is 15 mm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC. The modulating actuator is requires a 2-10 V input and offers position feedback, ensuring precise control over its operation and accurate monitoring of its position within the designated voltage range. The actuator opens/closes the valve in 35 seconds. The actuator has an IP54 rating.
The actuator, equipped with overload protection, doesn’t need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. Manual override is possible with a push-button, which disengages the gear train for as long as the button is pressed or locked. The stroke can be adjusted using a 4mm hexagon socket screw key inserted at the actuator’s top, with the stroke shaft extending when turned clockwise. The actuator can be directly mounted on the globe valve using form-fit hollow clamping jaws and it can be rotated 360° on the valve neck. The actuator can be controlled with a standard control signal of 2-10 V and moves to the position dictated by the control signal. Voltage measurement is employed both for visually displaying the valve position within the 0.5% to 100% range and as a control signal for other actuators. The default factory setting retracts the actuator stem.
