This is a 2-way Belimo ball valve with a brass housing and EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 25 and the port size is Rp 1 inch with female threads. The maximum pressure differential is 10 bar (145 psi). The valve can operate between -10 and 120 °C (14 to 248 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 26 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 30.08 gpm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC. The actuator utilizes the MP-Bus communication protocol and provides position feedback in the range of 0-10 V or 2-10 V, allowing for precise control and accurate monitoring of its position within the specified voltage range. The actuator opens/closes the valve in 75 seconds. The actuator has an IP54 rating. The actuator is equipped with a fail-safe (NC) feature that ensures safe operation in the event of a power failure.
The actuator, equipped with overload protection, doesn’t need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. The valve can be manually operated and secured in any position using a hand crank. Unlocking can be done manually or automatically by applying the operating voltage. The actuator can be directly mounted on the ball valve using a single screw. The mounting orientation relative to the ball valve can be chosen in 90° increments. The actuator connects with a 0-10 V control signal and moves to the position defined by the signal. Voltage measurement is employed both for visually displaying the valve position within the 0.5% to 100% range and as a control signal for other actuators. In bus operation, the actuator receives its digital control signal from the upper-level controller via the MP-Bus and moves to the defined position. The U connection serves as a communication interface without providing an analog measuring voltage. The rotation angle can be adjusted with mechanical end stops.
