This is a Belimo 2-way characterized ball valve with a nickel-plated brass housing and EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 40 and the port size is Rp 1 1/2 inch with female threads. With its integrated characterizing disc, it ensures equal percentage flow control, enabling precise and consistent regulation of fluid flow. The maximum pressure differential is 3.5 bar (50.8 psi). The valve can operate between -10 and 120 °C (14 to 248 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 16 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 18.51 gpm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC. The actuator features two-point (open-close) control. The actuator opens/closes the valve in 75 seconds. The actuator has an IP54 rating. The actuator is equipped with a fail-safe (NO) feature that ensures safe operation in the event of a power failure.
The actuator, equipped with overload protection, doesn’t need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. The valve can be manually operated and secured in any position using a hand crank. Unlocking can be done manually or automatically by applying the operating voltage. The actuator can be directly mounted on the ball valve using a single screw. The mounting orientation relative to the ball valve can be chosen in 90° increments. The actuator simultaneously moves the valve to the operating position and tensions the return spring. If the power source is cut off, the valve reverts to the fail-safe position driven by the spring force. The rotation angle can be adjusted with mechanical end stops.
