This is a Belimo 2-way characterized ball valve with a nickel-plated brass housing and EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 40 and the port size is Rp 1 1/2 inch with female threads. With its integrated characterizing disc, it ensures equal percentage flow control, enabling precise and consistent regulation of fluid flow. The maximum pressure differential is 3.5 bar (50.8 psi). The valve can operate between -10 and 120 °C (14 to 248 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 25 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 28.93 gpm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC. The actuator features two-point and three-point control. The actuator opens/closes the valve in 90 seconds. The actuator has an IP67 rating.
The actuator, equipped with overload protection, doesn’t need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. Manual override is possible using a push-button, which disengages the gear train as long as the button is pressed or remains locked. The actuator can be directly mounted on the ball valve using a single screw. The mounting orientation relative to the ball valve can be chosen in 90° increments. The rotation angle can be adjusted with mechanical end stops. The actuator is particularly suitable for challenging environments such as wood drying, animal breeding, food processing, agriculture, indoor swimming pools/bathhouses, rooftop ventilation plant rooms, and general outdoor applications. The actuator has passed various tests including the Noxious gas test EN 60068-2-60, Salt fog spray test EN 60068-2-52, Ammoniac test DIN 50916-2, Climate test IEC60068-2-30, Disinfectant (animals) test, and UV Test (Solar radiation at ground level) EN 60068-2-5, EN 60068-2-63. The housing cover must be removed for manual override.
