This is a Belimo 2-way characterized ball valve with a nickel-plated brass housing and EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 50 and the port size is Rp 2 inch with female threads. With its integrated characterizing disc, it ensures equal percentage flow control, enabling precise and consistent regulation of fluid flow. The maximum pressure differential is 3.5 bar (50.8 psi). The valve can operate between -10 and 120 °C (14 to 248 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 40 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 46.28 gpm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC. The modulating actuator is requires a 2-10 V input and offers position feedback, ensuring precise control over its operation and accurate monitoring of its position within the designated voltage range. The actuator, equipped with overload protection, doesn’t need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. The valve can be manually operated and secured in any position using a hand crank. Unlocking can be done manually or automatically by applying the operating voltage. The actuator can be directly mounted on the ball valve using a single screw. The mounting orientation relative to the ball valve can be chosen in 90° increments. The actuator connects with a standard 0-10 V control signal. The actuator moves the valve to the operating position while also tensioning the return spring. The valve returns to the fail-safe position by spring force when the supply voltage is interrupted. The rotation angle can be adjusted with mechanical end stops.
