This is a 2-way globe valve with a coated cast iron housing and EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 15 and the flange size is DN 15. The valve cone’s profile determines the equal percentage flow characteristic. The maximum pressure differential is 4 bar (58 psi). The valve can operate between 5 and 120 °C (41 to 248 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 1 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 1.16 gpm. The valves’s stroke length is 15 mm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC. The actuator utilizes the MP-Bus communication protocol and provides position feedback in the range of 0-10 V or 2-10 V, allowing for precise control and accurate monitoring of its position within the specified voltage range. The actuator opens/closes the valve in 150 seconds. The actuator has an IP54 rating.

The actuator, equipped with overload protection, doesn’t need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. Manual override is possible with a push-button, which disengages the gear train for as long as the button is pressed or locked. The stroke can be adjusted using a 4mm hexagon socket screw key inserted at the actuator’s top, with the stroke shaft extending when turned clockwise. The actuator can be directly mounted on the globe valve using form-fit hollow clamping jaws and it can be rotated 360° on the valve neck. The actuator connects with a 0-10 V control signal and moves to the position defined by the signal. Voltage measurement is employed both for visually displaying the valve position within the 0.5% to 100% range and as a control signal for other actuators. In bus operation, the actuator receives its digital control signal from the upper-level controller via the MP-Bus and moves to the defined position. The U connection serves as a communication interface without providing an analog measuring voltage. The default factory setting retracts the actuator stem. When shipping valve-actuator combinations, the motion direction is set based on the valve’s closing point. When actuator activated, the stroke direction switch alters the running direction during normal operation.
