This is a 2-way globe valve with a coated cast iron housing and EPDM sealing. The bore diameter of the valve is DN 15 and the flange size is DN 15. The valve cone’s profile determines the equal percentage flow characteristic. The maximum pressure differential is 4 bar (58 psi). The valve can operate between 5 and 120 °C (41 to 248 °F). The Kv value of the valve is 1.6 m3/h, equivalent to a Cv-value of 1.85 gpm. The valves’s stroke length is 15 mm. The actuator requires a supply voltage of 24 V AC/DC. The actuator supports BACnet MSTP/Modbus RTU/MP-Bus communication protocols and provides precise position feedback in the range of 0-10 V or 2-10 V, ensuring accurate and responsive control in various applications. The actuator opens/closes the valve in 150 seconds. The actuator has an IP54 rating.
The actuator, equipped with overload protection, doesn’t need limit switches and will stop automatically when the end stop is reached. Manual override is possible with a push-button, which disengages the gear train for as long as the button is pressed or locked. The stroke can be adjusted using a 4mm hexagon socket screw key inserted at the actuator’s top, with the stroke shaft extending when turned clockwise. The actuator can be directly mounted on the globe valve using form-fit hollow clamping jaws and it can be rotated 360° on the valve neck. The actuator comes with an inbuilt interface for BACnet MSTP, Modbus RTU, and MP-Bus. It obtains the digital control signal from the control system and provides the present status. The default factory setting retracts the actuator stem. When shipping valve-actuator combinations, the motion direction is set based on the valve’s closing point. When actuator activated, the stroke direction switch alters the running direction during normal operation.
